OCEANMAN 2023 Coming to Pattaya

Pattaya is set to host another great sport event dubbed the “OCEANMAN Pattaya 2023”.

Authorities hope that it will rake in as much as 50 million baht for the city.
The competition will collaboratively be hosted by Pattaya City and OCEANMAN Thailand, the organizer of a world-class outdoor swimming competition in Thailand. It aims to bring Pattaya back to the forefront of the tourism market, according to officials.

OCEANMAN Pattaya 2023 is scheduled to take place from May 20th-21st, at Jomtien Beach, opposite The Now Hotel. The event will feature a swimming competition in the open sea with four different distances: OCEANMAN (10 kilometers), Half OCEANMAN (5 kilometers), Sprint (2 kilometers), OCEANKIDS (1 kilometer), and OCEANTEAMS (1 kilometer). In the last category, a team of 3 swimmers will swim 1 kilometer each in the same course.

The target participants for the event are 800 people, including Thai and international swimmers, as well as 2,400 spectators. As stated, Pattaya officials expect that the event will generate over 50 million baht for Pattaya.
