Pattaya Festival this weekend: Full schedule, road closures, and rules

The Pattaya City PR Office has released a full schedule of the ‘Pattaya Festival 2021’, rules, and road closures.

Mayor Sonthaya Khunpluem told TPN media, “The 60 year anniversary of Pattaya City tourism and accompanying celebrations will be from December 24th to December 25th at Central Pattaya Beach near Central Festival.”

“Pattaya city has a long history since roughly 1959. This event is aimed to boost Pattaya tourism as one of the iconic Thailand Tourism Destinations as well as to support the Eastern Economic Corridor project for further development (EEC).”

The Pattaya Beach Road will be closed to traffic from the Dolphin Circle to Pattaya Walking Street from 4:00 P.M to midnight on BOTH Friday and Saturday this Christmas weekend.

The poster above shows the schedule for parades and fireworks as well as cultural shows which will be on Pattaya Beach. Dozens of food vendors and cultural events will be set up on Beach Road. Below are some more details on concerts and rules:

Schedule for Friday December 24th

9:00 P.M. : Thai Comedians show

9:45 P.M. : Safeplanet

10:45 P.M. : Keng Tachaya เก่

23:45 P.M.: Zani

00:45 A.M.: SCRUBB

Schedule on Saturday 25th

8:00 P.M. : Local Thai songs from Stamp

9:00 P.M. : Whal & Dolph

10:00 P.M. : Kwang AB normal

11:00 P.M. : Tattoo Colour

Rules for concert areas:

  • Body temperature, not more than 37.5
  • Everyone must wear a face mask.
  • MUST complete double doses of Covid -19 vaccines by showing via the ‘Mor Prom’ mobile application their certification OR proof of an ATK (rapid antigen Covid test) result (medical certificate/approved clinic or hospital only) no more than 72 hours
