Pattaya is gearing up for another Pride event called the Pattaya International Pride Festival, scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 22nd, 2024.
The event is being organized by the Pattaya City Administration in collaboration with Central Pattana Plc and Central Festival Pattaya.
Relevant officials and event organizers held a meeting on the afternoon of June 11th to finalize the preparations for the festival.
According to the officials, the Pattaya International Pride Festival 2024 will feature a grand Pride parade that will start in front of Central Marina, make its way down the beach, and conclude at Central Festival Pattaya. The parade route will be closed to traffic for two lanes from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM to ensure the safety of participants. Pattaya Soi 3 will be completely closed from 11:00 PM on June 21st, 2024, to 5:00 PM on June 22nd, 2024, to accommodate the parade vehicles.
Officials also discussed security arrangements and the deployment of security personnel at key event areas, particularly at the start and finish points of the parade. The festival aims to celebrate Pride Month and promote equality through the grand Pride parade, while also boosting tourism in Pattaya.
