Kites make a return to Pattaya Beach, delighting domestic tourists

Pattaya-

Nearly every weekend in particular traffic from Bangkok and Eastern province has increased in the Pattaya area as domestic tourists grow more confident about travel and returning to a “normal” life while living with Covid-19.

Beach vendors have steadily been returning to Pattaya Beach and kites, a fairly recent introduction to the beach, especially after a successful kite festival earlier this year to replace Songkran (deemed too risky due to Covid19) have been a hit.

After recent Covid-19 lockdowns and restrictions shut the local beaches off and on for months, things seem to be steadily returning to normal, and with that come kites on the beach.

Here are some recent pictures from the past weekend our sister TPN media teams took. Pattaya Beach has been taking several measures, including allowing street parking, to attract more visitors to the beach as of late.
